Stylish & Warm Orangeries
Get Your DesignsOrangeries were owned by wealthy families in times gone by. These days, they are no longer the exclusive property of the rich. In fact, almost anyone can enjoy the benefits of an orangery, which features solid construction, a dwarf wall around the perimeter, and a decorative lantern in the roof that floods the space below with natural light.
Customisation Options
We offer numerous further customisation options for your orangery. We can provide cornices that are curved or one-, two-, or three-tiered that are available in four standard colours and any RAL colour. Our super-insulated columns can also be added to your orangery in different colours, panelling, and sizes for more warmth.
Our orangery roofs can be designed with larger spans and door openings and come with different glazing options, including shaped, side-shaped, and full-length panels, or a combination of all three. We also offer performance glazing that has a 1.0 W/m²K U-value and high or low light transmission and solar rejection depending on how much sun your orangery gets.
Cost-Effective Extension
An orangery is a great way to increase space while also improving the value of your home. Not only is it a more cost-effective option than an extension, but it is also incredibly durable. Expect to enjoy the many benefits of your brand-new garden room for many more years to come.
Whatever your design intentions, we can help. Build your dream orangery by discussing your style, feature, and colour scheme ideas with one of our consultants. We will make sure your new orangery enhances the character of your Warminster home.

How much are orangeries?
It is difficult to provide a price for your orangery as various factors contribute to the overall costs, such as the size and any customisation options. The best way to get a price is to call us at 01985 215566.
What is an orangery?
An orangery is a room that features expensive brickwork. Often, it will showcase a dwarf wall and pillars to create a cosy traditional feel. The roof is fitted with glass pods or a lantern roof for abundant natural light. The remaining walls and central ceiling area are constructed with glass.
Some time back, orangeries were used in northern Europe to cultivate lemon, orange, and lime trees to overcome local climate limitations. These days, orangeries are used as a popular alternative to conservatories, creating a light, bright, and energy-efficient space suitable for year-round use.
Is an orangery warmer than a conservatory?
Generally speaking, because an orangery is solid in its construction, it retains more heat than a conservatory. However, the windows, doors, glazing, and materials used will all contribute to the thermal efficiency.
Every product we manufacture is built with thermal efficiency in mind. So you can choose us with total peace of mind, knowing comfort and energy savings will come as standard.
What is the difference between an orangery and a conservatory?
Conservatories feature more glass, which often runs from floor to ceiling. Light is the key objective in conservatories, which results in them feeling bright and spacious. Orangeries, on the other hand, feel more enclosed due to the extensive masonry used in their construction. This means that an orangery won’t heat up as much during warmer weather, making it ideal for year-round living and entertaining.
Orangeries feel and behave like house extensions, whereas conservatories serve as a seamless transition between your interior and exterior areas. That said, you can modernise an orangery by adding more glass and make a conservatory cosier by adding a tiled roof.
Is an orangery more affordable than an extension?
Orangeries sit somewhere in the middle in terms of their price point. They generally cost more than a conservatory but less than an extension.
Happy Customers

We used this company for replacement doors a few years ago and have now used them to replace some windows. Excellent company with very friendly staff. So happy with the the new windows and were kept informed every step along the way. Thank you 😊
Karen Smith
Very pleased with the whole process. Team were professional and friendly and the team that did the installations were great and did an amazing job, we have a lot of stuff and they took everything in their stride. Love the quality of windows and doors which were much better than the ones they replaced.
Nick Davis
Excellent, very, very pleased. The guys that came to fit my window were pleasant, competent and cleared up all the inevitable mess afterwards. They even put a cloth down to protect the carpets. Highly recommended.

We used New Windows for replacing a few windows and doors for my elderly Mum’s property. We have been repeat customers due to this company’s friendly staff, quality of the windows and workmanship and friendliness of the window fitters (who were great with my Mum). We would definitely recommend New Windows.
